Ceres Storm Drain Master Plan
The City of Ceres storm drain system consists of over 80 miles of storm drain pipelines. The existing storm drain infrastructure in Ceres is comprised of several sub-systems with detention/retention basins, rockwells and french drains, and stormwater pump stations. Disposal of collected stormwater is either by percolation or discharge to Turlock Irrigation District canals by agreement, and three locations to the Tuolumne River. Black Water was retained to complete an integrated planning-level Storm Drain Master Plan depicting and describing the “backbone” or “major” infrastructure, along with design guidelines for storm infrastructure to serve future developments and potential future projects within the 2035 General Plan Planning Area.
