Santa Nella Recycled Water

Black Water secured State Water Resources Control Board Small Community Wastewater Planning Grant funds for the wastewater treatment system evaluation for the Santa Nella County Water District water recycling project. Black Water prepared the feasibility study which evaluated the potential for recycled water users and demands; treatment alternatives to produce, dispose, and reuse tertiary treated recycled water; identified improvements and related costs to supplement irrigation demands and meet the anticipated reduction in the availability of potable water as a result of drought intensity in California; and completed an economic analysis to evaluate the viability of the project.
