JSD Recycled Water Program
Black Water assisted Jamestown Sanitary District with the planning, design, and construction management and inspection of wastewater treatment facilities capable of producing Title 22 disinfected tertiary recycled water. Permitted uses include washdown and process water at the wastewater treatment plant, landscape irrigation, cleaning of sewers, consolidation of backfill around piping, soil compaction, mixing concrete, dust control, and cleaning of roads, sidewalks, and outdoor work areas. Black Water prepared the documents required for the production and distribution of recycled water and coordinated with the Regional Water Quality Control Board and Division of Drinking Water for approval.
